This Privacy Policy explains how the Developer of Vony ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with your use of the Vony mobile photo editing application ("Vony" or the "App"). By using Vony, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a secure and responsible manner.

Vony is designed to prioritize user privacy, with a core principle of minimal data collection and local-only data processing. This Policy applies to all users of Vony worldwide and complies with applicable data protection regulations, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We believe in minimal data collection and do not gather or store the following types of information:

• Personal Identification Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) from users. Vony does not require account creation, login, or registration, so no user profile data is ever collected or stored.
• Location Data: Vony does not access, collect, or store your device's geographic location, whether precise or approximate.
• Usage Analytics: We do not track your usage of the App, including which features you use, how often you edit photos, or the duration of your App sessions. No analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics) are integrated into Vony.
• Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, UUID, advertising ID), operating system version, device model, or other hardware/software details about your device.
• Photo Content (Permanently): We do not upload, store, or transmit your original or edited photos to our servers or any third-party services. All photo editing occurs locally on your device, and no copies of your photos are retained by us after editing is complete.

3. Information We Collect Temporarily (Local Only)

Vony processes limited data temporarily on your device solely to provide core editing functionality. This data is never transmitted off your device and is deleted automatically when you close the App or delete it from your device:

All temporary data is encrypted locally on your device (where applicable) and is only accessible by Vony while the App is active. No third-party applications or services can access this temporary data.

4. Permission Handling

Vony requests device permissions only on a "just-in-time" basis to enable specific features, and only with your explicit consent. We never request unnecessary permissions, and all permissions are used solely for the stated purpose:

4.1 Camera Permission

When you choose to capture a new photo directly within Vony for editing, we request access to your device's camera. This permission is only used to capture the photo you intend to edit and is not used to access or record camera data in the background. You may decline this permission, and Vony will continue to function (you will simply need to select photos from your gallery instead).

4.2 Gallery/Photos Permission

When you select photos from your device's gallery to edit in Vony, we request access to your device's photo library. This permission is only used to retrieve the specific photos you select for editing and is not used to scan, access, or copy other photos in your library. We do not sync, upload, or back up your photo library to any external servers.

4.3 Saving Permission

When you choose to save edited photos to your device's Photos application, we request permission to write to your photo library. This permission is only used to save the edited version of the photo you have selected, and no additional data is written to your device. Saved photos contain only the cropped/edited content (no overlay edges or Vony-branded markup).

You may revoke any permission at any time through your device's settings. Revoking a permission will limit access to the corresponding feature but will not affect other functionality of Vony.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the temporary data processed by Vony on your device:

• All temporary editing data is stored in encrypted form (where supported by your device's operating system) to prevent unauthorized access by other apps or users;
• Vony does not store any data on external servers, eliminating the risk of server breaches or unauthorized access to user data;
• Edit history data is cleared automatically when you close the App or delete it from your device;
• Vony uses secure coding practices to prevent data leaks or unauthorized access to temporary data;
• We do not share any data (temporary or otherwise) with third-party vendors, advertisers, or data brokers.

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device (e.g., using passcodes, biometric authentication) to prevent unauthorized access to Vony and your photos.

6. Third-Party Services

Vony does not integrate with any third-party services, including (but not limited to):

• Advertising networks or ad servers;
• Social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter);
• Cloud storage services (e.g., Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox);
• Analytics or tracking services;
• Data brokers or marketing companies.

Since Vony does not interact with third-party services, no data is ever shared, transmitted, or sold to third parties. This ensures that your privacy is protected from third-party data collection or misuse.

7. User Rights (Data Protection)

Under applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to Access: Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no data to access. If you have questions about the temporary data processed on your device, we will provide clear information about how this data is used.
• Right to Rectification: No personal data is stored, so no rectification is necessary. You may modify or delete temporary editing data at any time by closing the App or clearing your device's cache.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Since we do not store any personal data, erasure requests are automatically fulfilled. Deleting Vony from your device will remove all temporary editing data stored locally.
• Right to Data Portability: All User Content (photos, edits) is stored locally on your device, and you may transfer or back up this data at any time using your device's native features.
• Right to Opt Out: You may opt out of all data processing by uninstalling Vony from your device. No opt-out requests are required beyond deleting the App.
